Marilyn Monroe was not only Hollywood's most famous star, she was also a huge fashion icon. From her skin-tight dresses to her curve-hugging one-pieces, there is no denying Monroe's style was ahead of her time. Though more than fifty years have passed since she passed away, the bombshell actress continues to be a cultural icon for many, including those in Hollywood.

The iconic look was inspired from the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, where the actress wore the bright dress, created by costume designer William Travilla, while she sang, "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend."
Like Marilyn's performance, the 21-year-old had backup dancers wearing tuxedos on stage. The former Fifth Harmony member isn't the only one who has opted for Monroe's iconic pink dress. In her 1985 music video for "Material Girl," Madonna wore a similar satin gown inspired by Travilla's dress.
Aside from performing at the award show, the songstress took home the Fan Girls Award thanks to the amazing Camilizers!
