According to The Guardian, the room was not opened until 2004 and now more than 200 items from the Casa Azul or the "Blue House" are going to be displayed in London. Kahlo often individualized her belongings, such as her corsets that she wore to support her back, by converting them into art.
“This is the real material evidence of the way Kahlo constructed her identity,” Claire Wilcox, senior curator of fashion at the V&A, told The Guardian.
